Crews fight fire at Summit Academy welding shop
Fire crews battle a fire in a welding shop at Summit Academy in Summit Township Monday night.
SUMMIT TWP — Fire crews are battling a fire Monday night in a welding shop behind Summit Academy.
The Herman and East Butler fire departments responded to the fire, which was reported around 5:30 p.m.
Summit Academy is a school for court-adjudicated youth and young adults ages 14 to 19. The main school building was not evacuated Monday night as the fire was in a detached structure.
No injuries were reported.
