Knoch student accused of taking photos in school restroom

JEFFERSON TWP — A Knoch High School student is accused of shooting photos of another student with his cell phone as they were in adjacent bathroom stalls at the school last week.

State police Tuesday charged Caleb D. Haines, 18, of Buffalo Township with invasion of privacy and disorderly conduct.

The victim, a minor, told authorities that he was seated on the bathroom toilet in a stall Dec. 8 when he noticed what he thought was someone attempting to take pictures of him from the next stall, police said.

The boy saw the camera phone reach over two times. After the second time, according to court documents, he told the suspect to “stop it.”

The pictures showed the victim’s legs, though they did not show the victim’s genitalia., documents said.
