Heltzell 50th anniversary
David and Karen Heltzell of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a New England and Canada cruise and with a family dinner at the Hardwood Cafe.
Heltzell married the former Karen Graffius Dec. 12, 1967, at Meridian United Presbyterian Church in Butler.
They have three children, Douglas of Butler, James (Sara) of Cranberry Township and Eric (Erann) of Butler.
They also have four grandchildren.
Heltzell retired after 34 years as sales finance manager at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare in Moon Township, Allegheny County.
He is a volunteer at Butler Township's Preston Park.Mrs. Heltzell retired as a health technician for the Butler School District.She is a volunteer in medical records at Butler Memorial Hospital.The Heltzells are members of First United Methodist Church of Butler.
