Hiles' prized deer antlers have been returned
Abby Hiles' prized deer antlers have been returned.
“What seemed like the impossible came true,” Hiles wrote on her Facebook page. “My antlers were returned to me. Regardless of the questions asked why or how. The main thing is I have my antlers back, and that's what truly matters the most.”
On Nov. 27, the head of a 12-point buck that Hiles, 19, of Karns City harvested was stolen from Schnur's Custom Meat Market in Jefferson Township. The head featured a unique rack with a downturned brow tine on its left side.
