[naviga:h3]FBC boys basketball nets 63-60 victory[/naviga:h3]

Aaron Drake had 19 points, 13 rebounds and six assists to lead the First Baptist Christian School boys basketball team to a 63-60 win over Beaver County Christian School this week.

Derrik Butterworth had 18 points, Ben Drake 10. Ryan Creaturo contributed 13 rebounds.

Paul Barbato scored 27 points and Jordan Condom 20 for BCCS.

[naviga:h3]Keeley, Keeslar earn All-Academic[/naviga:h3]

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University women’s soccer player Tess Keeley and men’s soccer player Kenton Keeslar have been named CoSIDA Academic All-America second team.

Keeley earned a 4.0 grade point average as a Tourism, Resort, Recreation and Hospitality Management major. She started all 18 games for SRU this year and had two goals and six assists.

Keeslar has a 4.0 GPA as an exercise science major. He started all 18 games as a defender for The Rock.
