Butler Art Center, 344 S. Main St., has canceled the planned exhibit of tattoo art due to lack of entries. The Christmas Art Show and Sale will be Dec. 6 to 30. Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., presents an exhibition of photographs by William Henry Fox Talbot, who invented the paper-based photography that dominated the field for most of the 19th and 20th centuries, Saturday through Feb. 11. The museum will have free admission on Sunday. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except closed Tuesdays and holidays. Extended hours are until 8 p.m. most Thursdays.
