City firefighters were called to the county Government Center Saturday afternoon for a broken sprinkler head that dampened the county commissioners meeting room.
The sprinkler alarm call came in at about 1:30 p.m. while three workers from Uhl Construction poured and finished the new concrete immediately outside the building’s front door.
Because of the wet concrete, firefighters had to enter the Government Center through an entrance on South Jackson Street.
It is not yet known what if any damage was done to the building.
Commissioner Kevin Boozel could be seen directing firefighters in the building.
