HAMPTON — The Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic girls soccer team saw its nine-game winning streak snapped Monday night with a 1-0 WPIAL Class 1A semifinal loss to Greensburg Central Catholic.

The game was played at Hampton High School's stadium.

The Trojanettes (15-5) had outscored their opposition 38-4 during their win streak.

Greensburg Central (14-3) won its sixth straight game. The Centurions have also posted five consecutive shutouts.

Harbor Creek 3, Grove City 2 — The Eagles were eliminated in the District 10 Class 2A semifinals.

Corie Bocian and Camryn Skibinski scored the goals for Grove City.
