Jeffrey A. “Jethro” Fair

In loving memory of Jeffrey A. “Jethro” Fair who departed this Earth October 20, 2012.

It is hard to believe that five long years have passed since that fateful day. When you left, you took a piece of all our hearts with you. Every moment of every day we still find ourselves trying to cope with that loss.

Our boy has grown and changed so much, and his words echo what we all feel. “Hi Daddy, I hope you are having a nice time in Heaven, but I wish you were still here on Earth to play with me and to see all my ship drawings. I will see you again someday in Heaven. I love and miss you, from your son Geoffrey.”

Your mom loves and misses you terribly Jeff, yet takes comfort knowing that you are at peace in God’s hands in Heaven.

As for me, your wife, the words to our favorite song always say it best.

How I wish, how I wish you were here.

We’re just two lost souls

Swimming in a fish bowl,

Year after year,
