3:49 p.m. Oct. 8 — Timothy A. Gifford Jr., 49, allegedly punched and threatened his stepfather during a domestic dispute at their home on Scenic View Drive.

The victim, Richard Moon, called 911 after fleeing the home with his wife, Sandra Moon. They later told police that they were watching television on their patio when Gifford started using obscenities and calling them profane names, according to court documents.

Sandra Moon advised the defendant to “pack his things and get out,” a police affidavit said. Gifford became “more enraged,” the affidavit said, and he threw chairs before threatening to “snap (Richard Moon’s) neck like a twig.”

He is accused of punching his stepfather in the right side of his jaw, knocking the victim to the ground. When Sandra Moon stepped in between the two men, documents said, the defendant shoved her aside, knocking her down, too.

Gifford is charged with terroristic threats and multiple counts of simple assault and harassment.

Oct. 8 — Alyssa M. Garcia, 28, of Buffalo Township allegedly stole another customer’s wallet at Rock-A-Fellas Sports Bar on Mulone Drive. The theft, police said, was caught on surveillance video.

The victim notified police Oct. 9 after discovering her wallet missing. She said that the last time she had the wallet, which contained her identification, about $15 and other personal items, was about 1:50 a.m. Oct. 8 when she was at the bar.

Police went to Rock-A-Fellas and reviewed the surveillance footage, which showed the victim at the bar. Garcia is seen entering the business around 1:50 a.m.

She walked up to the bar, according to court documents, and sat next to the victim. While holding a drink in her right hand, police said, she placed her left hand over the wallet, cupped it and slid it over toward her right hand. The suspected theft went unnoticed by the victim.

The video showed Garcia place the wallet in her back pocket, documents said.

Police quickly identified the defendant, who is a regular at the bar. An officer called her on the telephone and confronted her with the video evidence. Garcia admitted that she still had the victim’s wallet, documents said, which she later dropped off at the police station.

All the belongings were still in the wallet when it was returned to the victim.
