Students charged with making threats at Butler Intermediate
Two students were charged Thursday by the Butler Township police with making bomb threats at Butler Intermediate High School.
Police said a 15-year-old boy allegedly made separate threats Sept. 8 and Sept. 22 at the school, and has been charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and institutional vandalism.
The second individual, a 12-year-old girl, is accused of writing a threat on a second-floor bathroom wall on Sept. 25. She has been charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct, police said.
Police did not identify the youths, who were both charged in Butler County Juvenile Court.
