Suspected drug dealers due in court next week
Three Butler County Prison inmates are awaiting hearings next week on charges of dealing narcotics last year in Butler.
State police vice officers last week filed the trafficking cases against Bryan K. Doller, 36, of Butler; Rainy M. Rose, 32, of Butler; and Sanya L. Vantassel, 40, of Evans City.
Doller has been in prison since April in connection with an unrelated felony drug arrest and for a state parole violation and Rose has been jailed since Sept. 21 for a probation violation.
Vantassel is already serving a sentence in an unrelated drug case. She also is awaiting trial in Allegheny County in a felony escape case.
The police vice unit on Oct. 2 filed the latest charges against the defendants stemming from separate investigations. Police said the suspects all used cell phone to set up drug deals with police informants.
