Friday — Police are looking for a missing 12-year-old boy of Emlenton. Dylan B. Goughler, described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds with brown hair, was reported missing from his home at 510 College St., Emlenton, between 5 and 10 p.m. Friday. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.

State Police, Butler

9 p.m. Sept. 19 — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person who stole several items from a truck in Donegal Township.

Police say an unknown person stole cash and a firearm from a truck parked on East Slippery Rock Road between the hours of 9 p.m. Sept. 19 and 7 a.m. Sept. 20.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 724-284-8100.

8:33 p.m. Saturday — A 34-year-old Turtle Creek man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Police say the man was pulled over for a summary traffic violation on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township and was allegedly found to be under the influence. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana, police say. He was placed under arrest and submitted to a blood test.

2:23 a.m. Saturday — A 25-year-old Butler man is suspected of driving under the influence and crashing his car on Route 422 in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County.

Police say the man was driving his Dodge Neon eastbound on Route 422 when he lost control and hit a cement barrier. He was not injured in the crash and his blood was drawn for testing.

7 p.m. Friday — A Kittanning man reported that his motorcycle’s registration plate, which reads 4DV77, was either stolen or lost at an unknown location. If the plate is found, the finder is asked to call state police at 724-543-2011.
