SR girls soccer tops Greenville

Ellie Reiser, Emily Sarver and Kayla Daugherty each scored a goal in Slippery Rock's 3-0 girls soccer victory at Greenville Monday afternoon.

Olivia Elliott contributed an assist for the Rockets (6-4), who travel to Conneaut Area on Wednesday.

Knoch 2, Indiana 1 — Lindsie Galbreath scored twice on assists from Lindsey Fanton and Shiann Thomas as the Knights (7-3, 2-3) picked up a Section 1-AAA win.

Becca Stockert made four saves in net for Knoch.

Karns City 2, Redbank Valley 0 — The Gremlins (6-2-1) received a goal from Hannah Knoll and Hunter Dittman, with assists going to Kendall Collwell and Haley Scherer.

Freeport 4, Deer Lakes 3 — Kaylee Comperatore's second goal of the game was the difference as the Yellowjackets (9-2 overall) remained perfect in Section 2-AA with a 6-0 mark.

Carlie Giori and Lexi Dell both netted one goal in the win.

Assists went to Sarah Lipniskis (2) and Sidney Shemanski. Jenna Manke recorded five saves to aid Freeport.

Mars 2, Hampton 0 — Caroline Wroblewski and Ellie Coffield both scored in the first half for the Planets (8-0, 5-0), who posted their seventh straight shutout.

Maggie Williams and Gracie Dunaway both had an assist.

Boys Golf

Mars' Chris Sicher came in with a 37 and teammates Luke Diel and Shea Moffa both shot a 38 as the Planets toppled Freeport, 199-227, at Rittswood Golf Course.

Mars improved to 10-7 with the victory.

The Yellowjackets (11-4) were paced by Morgan Penn's 40.

Girls Volleyball

Josey Terwilliger dropped 16 kills on Punxsutawney as A-C Valley scored a 3-0 sweep over the Chucks.

Olivia Boocks added 12 kills and 12 digs for the Falcons, who won by scores of 25-22, 25-7 and 25-21.

Kylee Eaton contributed 10 kills and seven blocks.

Moniteau 3, Rocky Grove 0 — Logan Barnhart's four aces and Emma Bair's seven kills and six blocks powered the Warriors to this 26-24, 25-10, 25-20 win.

Knoch 3, Indiana 0 — The Knights prevailed 27-25 in Game 1, then routed the Indians in the next two, 25-10 and 25-8.

Sarah Armahizer had 12 kills and Hannah Rowe 11 kills. Kerrie Fitzpatrick totaled 14 service points and 36 assists.

Girls Golf

Hannah Folk's 37 helped Butler overwhelm Armstrong 175-203.

Maggie Feczko added a 40 for the Golden Tornado.
