Wilda 'Billie' Cooper

Wilda H. “Billie” Cooper of Mars celebrated her 95th birthday with a family dinner at her daughter’s home in Mars.

The former Wilda H. Whitehead was born Sept. 7, 1922, in Charleroi. She married the late James E. Cooper on July 25, 1944, at a Presbyterian Church in Carrick.

She has two children, Bonnie Cooper Rupp of Mars and James E. Cooper Jr. of Mars.

She also has three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cooper is a retired church secretary.

She is a member of Nixon United Methodist Church.
