Blair 50th anniversary
Jack and Emogene Blair of Concordia at Cabot, formerly of Murrysville and Fruitland Park, Fla., will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner Sunday at Concordia.
Blair married the former Emogene Alice Showman Oct. 5, 1967, at Rosedale United Methodist Church in Penn Hills.
Blair retired from PNC Bank.
He is a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the American Legion Post 683 Saxonburg. He enjoyed gardening and numerous other hobbies.
Mrs. Blair retired from U.S. Steel Corp. She was secretary to the personnel director for 23 years.
She is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 683. She enjoyed the watercolor paint class at Concordia for many years.
The Blairs are charter members of the Faith United Methodist Church in Delmont. They also have an association with the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church.
