6:09 p.m. Sept. 17 — Shawn A. Klinefelter, 41, was arrested on charges he assaulted his wife, Megan Klinefelter, during a domestic dispute at their home on the 2000 block of Three Degree Road.

Klinefelter is accused of hitting the victim on the back of the neck and pushing her against the wall, court documents said.

District Judge Lewis Stoughton arraigned the defendant on charges of simple assault and harassment. He was released on his own recognizance.

1:52 a.m. Monday — Carrie Jensen, 38, of Pittsburgh was arrested for drunken driving after she ran a red light at the Interstate 79 off-ramp and Route 228.

Police said Jensen failed field sobriety tests and was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for a blood test. Toxicology results showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.184 percent, according to court documents, or more than double the state's 0.08 percent legal limit.

She was arraigned on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and the red light violation. She was placed in Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail following arraignment.

Monday — UPDATE: The charges listed against Melissa Rosetti in this article were dismissed and expunged at the Butler County Common Pleas Court on Aug. 1, 2020.

Melissa Rossetti, 50, of Cranberry Township was charged with bouncing a $2,127 check last month for water line work.

Rossetti passed the check on Aug. 10 to Kennihan Plumbing & Heating. Police said the check was written on an account with insufficient funds. The company on Sept. 7 sent the defendant a certified letter requesting payment.

According to court documents, Rossetti accepted the letter, but as of Monday had not paid her bill. She is charged with a first-degree misdemeanor count of bad checks.
