Hilliards man sentenced in heroin conspiracy

Joshua L. Pisor

A Hilliards man was sentenced to county prison in Butler County Court on Thursday, after previously pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute heroin.

Joshua L. Pisor, 30, was sentenced to 11½ to 23 months in Butler County Prison by county Judge William Shaffer.

State police in Butler said Pisor was helping his father, Richard H. Pisor Jr., distribute narcotics out of his Stalker Road home, where he was living at the time.

A search warrant was conducted on the home and found 179 stamp bags of heroin and 578 prescription pills that were stashed in a vinyl cooler.

A rifle was also found under a bed in the home's basement, where Joshua Pisor was living. Because of a 2007 conviction for burglary, he is barred by state law from possessing any firearms.

A full report will appear in the Butler Eagle.
