Gremlins' rushers bowl over Dutch

Karns City’s running game is back in a big way.

The Gremlins rolled up 545 yards on the ground and six touchdowns in a 61-6 win at St. Marys.

Sebastian Troutman rushed for 121 yards, Noah Kepple 104 yards and two touchdowns, and Dalton Beham 99 yards to lead the Gremlins ground game.

Karns City led 35-0 at the half.

Quarterback Anthony Kamenski also threw two touchdown passes for the Gremlins.

Grove City 58, Franklin 6 — Trey Adams rushed for 102 yards and scored three touchdowns to help the Eagles blast the Knights.

Brady Callahan and Carter Chinn also scored touchdowns for the Eagles (4-0, 3-0).

Central Valley 52, CWNC 28 — The Vikings got out to a 28-7 halftime lead en route to a non-conference win over the Trojans (2-2).

Aliquippa 50, Freeport 0 — MJ Devonshire scored three touchdowns, including a 32-yard catch early in the first quarter to help the Quips roll in a non-conference matchup.

The Yellowjackets (2-1) dug themselves a big hole, falling behind 24-0 in the first quarter.

Girls Volleyball

Karns City 3, Venango Catholic 0 — Alyssa Stitt tallied 10 assists in this 25-5, 25-6, 25-12 victory for the Gremlins on Thursday.
