Sheena and Gregory Carl

Sheena Ekas and Gregory Carl, both of Saxonburg, were united in marriage Aug. 11 at The Atrium in Prospect. The Rev. David Roddy officiated. A reception followed at The Atrium.

The bride is the daughter of Perry C. Ekas and Terri Ekas of Cabot. Parents of the bridegroom are the late Steve Carl and Jackie Carl of Cowansville.

The matron of honor was Tracy Lachendro of Butler. Bridesmaids included Emily Carl of Saxonburg, Gretchen Carl of Cannonsburg, Jihan Allay of New Castle, Erin Larue of Beaver, Kylie Dolak of Erie and Jessica Federkeil of Saxonburg.

Performing the duties of best man was Michael Cappella of Pittsburgh. Groomsmen included Logan Carl and Perry J. Ekas, both of Saxonburg, and Tommy Lento of Cannonsburg. Ushers included Anthony Lento and Mikey Lento, both of Cannonsburg.

The ring bearer was Ryder Ekas of Kiski.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Knoch High School. She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2010.

She is employed by George Junior Republic in Grove City.

The bridegroom graduated from Mount Lebanon High School in 1984 and from Clarion University in 1989.

He is employed by South Butler County School District in Saxonburg.

Following a honeymoon Caribbean cruise, the couple is residing in Saxonburg.
