Fair 60th anniversary
Earl and Glenda Fair of Karns City celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at the home of Matthew and Denise Fair in McKean. They also enjoyed a camping trip to Acadia National Park in Maine and Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada.
Fair married the former Glenda Sherwin July 12, 1957, at the Presbyterian Church in Fairview.
They have two sons, Dr. Mark Fair of Grove City and Matthew Fair of McKean.
They also have three grandchildren.
Fair is a retired pastor of the Presbyterian Church in America and a member of the Ascension Presbytery. He served churches in Alaska, Nevada, New York and Pennsylvania. Before becoming a minister, he taught and coached in the Chicora School District.
Mrs. Fair is a retired secondary teacher who taught in Chicora and Penn Hills.
She served as a Sunday school teacher and as a leader of church women’s organizations.
The couple attends the Gospel Fellowship Presbyterian Church in America in Valencia.
They enjoy reading, hiking, traveling and camping.
