SAXONBURG — The Knoch Knights Legacies Foundation has received its largest Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program donation to date.

The $60,000 donation from Brayman Construction Corp. of Saxonburg will support new projects through the Foundation’s Creative Education Grants program.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — “Benjamin’s Field: Ascent” by J.J. Knights of Adams Township was a finalist in the Young Adult — Social Issues category of the Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Contest.

Historical fiction set in Butler County, “Benjamin’s Field: Ascent” features a disabled teenager victimized by his hateful teacher. A volatile band of friends helps foil her scheme to institutionalize the teenager and forces her to reveal her own, dark secret.

The contest attracts thousands of entries from independent authors and small and large publishers.
