Butler City Council expects to vote on the following items at its meeting Thursday evening at the city building:

- A motion to approve Butler’s Fair Housing Resolution

- A motion to direct the city clerk to prepare and release a request for proposals for traffic signal maintenance for 2018 and 2019

- A motion to pay A.P. Wise Excavating $5,800 for the demolition of 111 South St., based on the code enforcement officer’s final inspection, to be paid from the Fire Escrow Account

- A motion to promote Roderick Huey to parks department foreman, retroactive to Aug. 6

- A motion to approve the transfer of Jason Gallagher from the streets department to the parks department, effective Sunday

- A motion to authorize the city clerk to begin the hiring process to fill the vacancy created by Jason Gallagher’s transfer from the streets department to the parks department.
