Aug. 9 — Austin P. Smith, 19, of Butler was charged with misdemeanor drug possession stemming from a traffic stop last month on Route 8.

Stuteville, 27, of Butler and Madalyn Somple, 28, of Butler Township.

A Middlesex Township police officer, who was called to assist, subsequently spotted a bag of suspected marijuana in the back seat area.

Police also eventually found two bags of pills, identified later as amphetamine and Adderall, that police found in the map pouch behind the driver’s seat and in the back pack, documents said. All three occupants denied owning any of the items.
