Cranberry massage parlor owner arrested

Ailian Chen

Police have made a third arrest in the case of the Ailian Chen Chinese Foot Massage parlor.

Ailian Chen, one of the owners of the parlor, is charged with involvement in a corrupt organization, conspiracy and possession of instruments of crime.

Police found evidence during their undercover operations and their raid last week that indicated Chen's involvement, along with the two other women, Di Xu and Jing Wang.

“The items that were seized during the search were in the furtherance of prostitution,” said Cranberry Police Sgt. Chuck Mascellino.

Police have confirmed that there are no concerns about the women's immigration status.

Though the three were arrested the same day, Chen was taken to the hospital before being charged. The reason for her hospitalization is not available at this time.

The three of them will have their preliminary arraignment this Friday at 11 a.m.

A full report will appear in the Butler Eagle.
