BEREA, Ohio — Kacey Faix of Cranberry Township was inducted into the Baldwin Wallace University French Recognition Society.

Faix is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

The society honors students who have excelled in studies of the French language.

Saint Peter, Minn. — Josh Bowser of Slippery Rock and John Garing III of Chicora each received a Brothers Scholarship, renewable for three years, from The Heritage Group Scholarship Fund.

Brothers Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic records and personal achievements.

Bowser plans to attend Penn State Erie, The Behrend College in the fall. He is the son of Michael Bowser, who is a Calumet Penreco employee in Karns City.

Garing plans to attend Penn State University Park in the fall. He is the son of John Garing Jr., who is a Calumet Specialty employee in Karns City.

Calumet Penreco and Calumet Specialty are Heritage Group companies.
