For the past 15 years the Center Township Board of Supervisors has maintained a commitment to the residents of Center Township by directing township employees, who serve as trained members of our fire department, to respond to emergency calls during their work shift.

On June 30, township employee and Unionville Volunteer Fire Company member Mike Iscrupe responded to just such a call when a vehicle veered off West Brewster Road and was immersed in a pond. Mike used quick thinking and good judgment in a response that very likely saved the lives of those trapped in their vehicle.
