EVANS CITY — St John’s United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., will have a corn roast and pulled pork dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 4.

A variety of side dishes and desserts also will be available.

An offering will be collected.

[naviga:h3]Preview book sale slated Aug. 6[/naviga:h3]

GROVE CITY — The Grove City Community Library will have a book sale preview from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 6 at the library, 125 W. Main St.

Event ticket holders will have exclusive early access to buy sale materials. Tickets will be sold at the library’s door the night of the event.

The book sale will be open to the public Aug. 7 through Aug. 19 during normal business hours. All proceeds will benefit the library.

[naviga:h3]Mandala painting coming to library[/naviga:h3]

CRANBERRY TWP — Mara Carlini from Mindful Living Wellness will provide instruction on creating and painting mandalas at 6 p.m. Aug. 8 at Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road.

She also will share information about mandalas around the world.

The event is for individuals with all levels of artistic ability. Templates and blank pages will be available. A supply fee is payable at the event.
