BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, has special music Sunday by Gwen Atkinson.

Family camp is from Sunday to July 30 and includes preaching, singing, and prayer. Services are at the Church of the Nazarene District Center, 177 North Road.

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

Mile One Kids summer movie is from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. July 30 during the normal service time. Children of all ages can take a pillow and blanket and wear pajamas.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St. is collecting diapers and wipes for Catholic Charities’ pregnancy and parenting support program. Baskets for donations are at entries to the church sanctuary.

FIRST BAPTIST

Steve Little, president of Baptist Church Planters, speaks at the Sunday morning worship service at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St. There also is a luncheon at 1 p.m.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

Leaders from the CAT congregational survey committee and Church Council members of First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., introduce the new mission statement during the social hour after the 9:30 a.m. Sunday worship service. Time is allotted for questions and discussion of the ministry plan.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road. Beth Ackelson provides the special music during the Sunday worship service.

HARRISVILLE UNITED METHODIST

Harrisville United Methodist Church, 301 S. Main St., Harrisville, has a blessing of the bikes at 10 a.m. July 30. There also is a worship service on the lawn and a picnic afterward.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The garden club of Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., meets at 6 p.m. today to weed the church grounds.

Samantha Roth presents a liturgical dance at the Sunday worship service.

Sunday is the deadline for reservations to the deacons’ ice cream social on July 30.

INTERSECTION COMMUNITY

Youth pastor Brandon Weiss leads the Sunday service at Intersection Community Church, previously Christ’s Outreach Church, at 120 Walker Ave.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

Weather permitting, Sunday’s worship service at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, is in the pavilion.

The mission trip for West Virginia is Aug. 6 to 12.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The youths of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson Street, and Hill United Presbyterian Church have a youth mission day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. The day includes baking for Meals on Wheels, lunch and swimming or bowling.
