Butler County Historical Society at the Senator Walter Lowrie House Museum, 123 W. Diamond St., hosts “We Can Do It! WWII,” created by the Senator John Heinz History Center, through Aug. 8. Admission is free. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, noon to 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., offers tours from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens, and $3 for youths 6 to 17. Call 724-452-7341.

Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village, Avella, Washington County, is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m., and on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $14 for senior citizens, and $7 for children 6 to 17. Call 724-587-3412.

PITTSBURGH

Fort Pitt Museum, Point State Park, presents “From Maps to Mermaids: Carved Powder Horns in Early America” through Jan. 14. Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., hosts “#Pixburgh: A Photographic Experience,” through Aug. 20. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $16 for adults, $14 for senior citizens, and $6.50 for children 6 to 17. Call 412-454-6000.
