A dance is planned for 7 to 11 p.m. Friday at the Mars VFW, 331 Mars-Valencia Road. It will include a Cha-Cha dance lesson from 7 to 8 p.m., and requested songs in the oldies, country and rock’n roll genres. Snacks will be provided. Music by Jazzy Jim. Admission is $10 per person. Live music will be available at the Saxonburg Hotel this weekend. The Home Cookin’ Trio will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday and Jeff Pogas from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday. Dance or listen to “Sweetie and the Country Boys” band every Sunday at the Shenango Township Fire Department Social Hall, 4115 New Castle Road, Pulaski, Lawrence County.
