CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases:

Ernest Weaver, 51, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of driving under the influence, DUI high rate, making an improper turn and careless driving filed June 27 by Butler state police.

Daniel Sample Jr., 30, of Ford Cliff, Pa., waived to court charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while operator privilege was suspended and speeding filed June 27 by Butler state police.

Eric Hignight, 39, of New Boston, Texas, was held for court on charges of rape, aggravated indecent assault, simple assault, indecent assault and harassment filed May 7 by Butler state police.

Daniel Mukaabya, 30, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault, aggravated assault and harassment filed June 19 by Butler state police.

Brittany Kelsea, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief (four counts), disorderly conduct and harassment filed April 27 by Butler state police.

Derek Edenfield, 37, of Old Towne, Fla., waived to court driving under the influence and DUI high rate filed May 7 by Butler state police.

Anthony Painter, 20, of St. Petersburg, Fla., waived to court charges of statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and possession of child pornography filed April 17 by Butler state police.
