The newly-created Butler Area USBC Association — a merger of the Butler County men’s, women’s and youth bowling organizations — elected its officers Sunday.

Tim Malis is president of the association. Bob Durr is first vice-president, Carey Checkan second vice-president and Neil Morris third vice-president.

The new association will oversee Butler County area sanctioned bowling beginning Aug. 1.
