The Butler High athletic program, very successful in the 1965-66 season, came to a notable end for the champion gridders and gymnasts. The Athletic Recognition Committee presented rings to the varsity football members and watches to the undefeated gym squad. Butler Mayor Art Megan, seated at right, a member of the committee, fits one of the rings on co-captain Bill Quigley, center. Mickey Uram, seated at left, represents the gymnasts.
