PENN TWP — The Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department will have its 18th Mega Cruise from 2 to 10 p.m. July 8 at the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport, 473 Airport Road.

There will be food and beverages available for sale, raffles, karaoke in the hangar, all-day music and fireworks.

BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, will have its Celebrate the Bloom! Summer Festival from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 29.

Planned activities will include prairie tours and other nature explorations and demonstrations, plus local food, artisans and musical guests. A special program featuring live reptiles and amphibians with naturalist April Claus will take place at 10:30 a.m.

The Butler High School Class of 1947 will have its 70th class reunion beginning at 12:30 p.m. July 7 at the Lake Arthur Country Club, 255 Isle Road. Lunch will be at 1 p.m.
