BUFFALO TWP — The first night of the Firecracker 100 weekend at Lernerville Speedway fell victim to the rain.

Heavy rains earlier in the day forced postponement of Thursday night’s scheduled heat races and World of Outlaws Late Model feature race. That show will now be held at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Tonight’s heat races and feature were still scheduled as of press time. The 100-lap Firecracker 100 remains scheduled for Saturday night at the Sarver oval.
