Cruise-A-Palooza, hosted by the Rodfathers of Butler, is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Butler Farm Show Grounds, Route 68. Features include dash plaques, T-shirts, music and entertainment. Visit www.therodfathers.com.

Butler County Historical Society at the Senator Walter Lowrie House Museum, 123 W. Diamond St., hosts a new traveling exhibition, “We Can Do It! WWII,” created by the Senator John Heinz History Center, through Aug. 8. Admission is free. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, noon to 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The last tour begins 45 minutes before closing time each day. Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony, has tours that include the 1809 main museum building and wine cellar and a neighboring early 19th century house, both built by the communal Harmony Society, and a Mennonite log house, from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays and major holidays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens age 60 and older, and $3 for youths ages 6 to 17. Call 724-452-7341.

PITTSBURGH

Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., hosts “#Pixburgh: A Photographic Experience” through Aug. 20. The History Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except holidays. National Aviary, 700 Arch St., presents the open air show “Soar!” through Labor Day (weather permitting). Other activities include Private Penguin Feeding and Aracari Toucan Feeding Experiences; the opportunity to see baby flamingos hatch and grow; and Birdly, a full-body virtual reality ride. The Aviary is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aviary admission is $14 for adults and $13 for senior citizens and children ages 2 to 12. Some activities cost extra. Carnegie Museum of Natural History, 4400 Forbes Ave. in Oakland, presents “The Power of Poison” exhibition through Sept. 4. Visitors can explore a jungle, solve a poisoning mystery, and step into a fairytale at the show packed with interactive exhibits, live animals, and dramatic displays. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays with extended hours until 8 p.m. Thursdays and from noon to 5 p.m. Sundays; closed Tuesdays and major holidays. Children’s Museum, 10 Children’s Way, Allegheny Square, hosts “Hands-On Harley-Davidson” through Sept. 10. Kick Off to Summer Free Day with Allegheny SolarFest will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except holidays. Regular admission is $16 for adults and $14 for children ages 2 to 18 and senior citizens. Children younger than 2 are admitted free.
