Music in the Courtyard

Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson of the duo Hungrytown will play July 9 in the Music in the Courtyard series at the Butler Public Library. More concerts are planned at the library throughout the summer.
Duo Hungrytown will perform at library

Acoustic duo Hungrytown will perform July 9 at the Butler Public Library as part of the Music in the Courtyard series.

The free concert will begin at 2 p.m. at the library at 218 N. McKean St.

Vermonters Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, who make up Hungrytown, have been touring professionally for nearly 15 years.

The acoustic duo recently returned from the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

The Butler library concert is part of a seven-month national and international tour that began in January in Florida.

Hungrytown's songs and music have appeared in numerous television programs and documentaries.

Their third and latest album, “Further West,” made the Top 10 on the American Folk D.J. charts for two months, and at least 14 “Best of 2015” lists.

A drum circle, 6 p.m. July 21. This is a group that meets regularly but visitors can participate or just listen.

Cloud Chamber, made up of Christie Kecskemethy and Gary Kleemann who play string music, 2 p.m. Aug. 13

Sept. 17 Tony and Friends of God, Christian music, at 2 p.m. Sept. 17.
