Midnight Thursday — A one-vehicle accident happened on Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township.

Carly Sharrer, 22, of Butler was driving a Chevrolet TrailBlazer east on Evans City Road near White Oak Drive when the vehicle hit a deer on the road.

The Chevrolet came to a stop on the south berm of Evans City Road. Sharrer was not injured. The TrailBlazer had to be towed.

4:58 p.m. Thursday — A three-vehicle accident happened on Route 268 in East Franklin Township.

Clyde Lindsey, 42, of Leechburg, was driving on Route 268 near its intersection with Freeport Road. Police said he couldn’t stop his Pontiac G6 because of weather conditions and rear-ended a Volkswagen driven by Jeanne DeMore, 65, of Kittanning.

The Volkswagen subsequently rear-ended a Toyota, which was driven by John McCay, 38, of Kittanning.

No one was injured. The Pontiac G6 sustained disabling damage. Lindsey was cited for speeding.

9:42 p.m. Wednesday — Kelsea Lynn McConnell, 19, of Kittanning was cited for underage drinking following an incident on Route 268 in East Franklin Township.

8:38 p.m. Wednesday — Two residents of Vandergrift., were charged with harassment following an incident at 506 Spruce Hollow Road in Vandergrift.

A 52-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were charged with harassment of a 49-year-old woman following a domestic dispute. Names were not reported.

7:18 p.m. Wednesday — A Pittsburgh man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 28 in Harmar Township.

Justin Michael Turak, 35, was allegedly found with a marijuana pipe and an open container of alcohol.

8:46 a.m. Wednesday — A two-vehicle accident resulted in an injury on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township.

Police said an unknown vehicle was tailing Bradley Moore, 32, of Templeton, who was driving a Ford F-150 in the left lane. Police said the unknown vehicle moved into the right lane to pass Moore, and then switched to the left lane, cutting off the Ford.

Moore applied the brakes and steered left to avoid colliding into the vehicle. He lost control of the Ford and entered the median. The Ford rolled over multiple times before stopping on its roof on the median, and Moore was ejected from the truck.

The unknown vehicle did not stop at the scene.

Moore sustained a serious injury and was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
