Seniors for Safe Driving will host the following classes for those age 55 and older:

1 to 5 p.m. July 11, Grove City Alliance Church, Grove City

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 19, Concordia, Haven II, Cabot

Seniors completing the course will receive a 5 percent reduction in their automobile insurance premiums for three years.

[naviga:h3]Speech to cover Pittsburgh quirks[/naviga:h3]

CRANBERRY TWP — Louise Sturgess, director of the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation, will speak at 6 p.m. June 27 at the Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road.

Sponsored by the Friends of Cranberry Library, her presentation will reveal the twists of fate and quirky physical characteristics that have made — and make — Pittsburgh the unique city that it is.
