Farmer's Market adds variety to lineup
Bob Dandoy is ensuring the Butler City Farmer's Market isn't just another place to buy home-grown vegetables.
Dandoy is chair of the Butler City Farmer's Market Committee, which spiced up this year's vendor lineup to add variety.
“We want a diverse farmer's market,” Dandoy said. “We want it to be a day where everybody comes down, and they socialize and spend a little bit of time here.”
McGlaughlin Distillery, of Sewickley, Pa., set up at the market a few times in 2016, but will be a regular staple this year. Customers will be able to buy a variety of spirits from the vendor.
Also new is Morton's Organics, which adds another option for organically-grown vegetables.
Returning staples include the Butler County Lions Club, the Farmers' Wives and Grimm Farm.
