BUTLER CHUCH OF THE NAZARENE

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, has special music by Gordon Thompson at the Sunday worship service.

Caravan graduation is at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the sanctuary.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

The Dine and Donate fundraiser night for Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Panera Bread, 330 New Castle Road. Diners must present the related flyer.

There is no community dinner work team Monday.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., has the noisy offering of loose change at the Sunday worship service. The offering supports the Refreshing Springs ministry of Ambridge/Aliquippa.

The monthly cleaning day begins at 9 a.m. Saturday.

FIRST BAPTIST

First Baptist Christian School, a ministry of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., has kindergarten graduation at 7 p.m. Friday in the church auditorium for parents, family and friends of kindergarten students.

The church juniors and seniors have Evening of Elegance Friday.

The Berean Sunday school class gathers for a social at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Sunday’s service schedule includes Sunday school, a worship service and a 6 p.m. service.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., has no Sunday school until Sept. 10.

There is no community dinner and the church office is closed Monday.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., opens Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Each family may take one large bag of clothing.

The clothing bank needs children’s clothing. Deliver donations from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.

Ladies’ night out is 5:30 p.m. June 1 at the Rock Ann Haven, 141 Greenwood Drive.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

MaryAnn Mahan, Joyce Moore and Patty Miller provide special music during the Sunday worship service.

The church honors veterans and will post a wreath in memorial of those who have died.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., accepts the Pentecost offering through next week.

There is no fellowship hour following worship Sunday.

The church office is closed Monday.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, installs the Rev. Ed Boyce at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church. There is a reception afterward.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, begins its summer worship schedule Sunday. There will be no Sunday school and the worship service begins at 10 a.m.

Former student pastor Joaquin Anabe Lopez is the guest minister Sunday.

The church is collecting shoes to support CHOSEN, a mission project that provides medical equipment for mission hospitals. The shoes reach low-income entrepreneurs in developing nations.

RIDER LUTHERAN CHURCH

Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury, has a special memorial service at 9 a.m. Sunday in Rider Cemetery. There is a regular church service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., welcomes the Rev. Clark Sawyer to the pulpit during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship.

ST. ANTHONY ORTHODOX

St. Anthony Orthodox Church, 400 S. Sixth Ave., will have services at 10 a.m. on alternate Sundays starting June 4 and continuing through Aug. 27. For more information, call 724-287-6983.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, shares Holy Communion at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday contemporary worship service. The 9:30 a.m. worship service resumes in September.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will have one Sunday service through Labor Day weekend. Sunday’s service is at 10 a.m. and is Confirmation Sunday.

There is a joint event of Catholics and Lutherans at 7 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church.
