Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony, in addition to its free annual Herb and Garden Fair on June 10, has tours that include the 1809 main museum building and wine cellar and a neighboring early 19th century house, both built by the communal Harmony Society, and a Mennonite log house, from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays and major holidays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens age 60 and older, and $3 for youths ages 6 to 17. Call 724-452-7341.

Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village, 401 Meadowcroft Road, Avella, Washington County, has opened for the season. Meadowcroft includes the Rockshelter, site of early human habitation, plus a 16th century eastern woodland Indian village and a historic village featuring elements of everyday family life in the mid-19th century. Throughout May, Meadowcroft is open Saturdays, from noon to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, Meadowcroft is open on Wednesdays through Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m., and on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $14 for senior citizens, and $7 for students and children ages 6 to 17. PITTSBURGH

Children’s Museum, 10 Children’s Way, Allegheny Square, has opened “Hands-On Harley-Davidson,” which continues through Sept. 10. The exhibit “Ice Station Zebra” concludes Sunday. The museum will be closed Monday for Memorial Day but is open otherwise from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $16 for adults and $14 for children ages 2 to 18 and senior citizens. Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., has Bill Mazeroski’s iconic uniform and bat from Game 7 of the 1960 World Series on display. The exhibit “#Pixburgh: A Photographic Experience,” offering an in-depth look at the museum’s extensive collection of photographs, continues through Aug. 20. The History Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except holidays. National Aviary, 700 Arch St., offers Birdly, a new full-body virtual reality experience that gives the sensation of flying. The cost is $8 per flight. Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, 700 Frank Curto Drive, has opened the Butterfly Forest. Phipps is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and until 10 p.m. Fridays.
