Wednesdays@1 will show “Hacksaw Ridge” at 1 p.m. June 14 at the Kean Theatre at St. Barnabas, Washington Place, 5847 Meridian Road, Gibsonia. The movie tells the true story of Desmond T. Doss, the conscientious objector who, at the Battle of Okinawa, won the Medal of Honor for his incredible bravery and regard for his fellow soldiers. Rangos Omnimax Theater at the Carnegie Science Center, One Allegheny Ave. beside Heinz Field on the North Side, is showing “Extreme Weather” and “Dream Big” as well as the movie from the vault for May, “Hubble.” “D-Day” will be shown for the month of June only.
