Raider lacrosse moves on

Freshman Olivia Rupert scored five goals and Karina Latsko added three to lead Seneca Valley's girls lacrosse team to a 15-9 victory over North Allegheny in a WPIAL Class AAA quarterfinal playoff at Fox Chapel High School's James M. Burke Stadium Wednesday night.

Elizabeth Hanks stopped seven shots in goal for SV (15-4).

The win was the Raiders' third this season over the rival Tigers and sends SV to the semifinal round where it will face Fox Chapel Monday night at a site and time to be determined.
