The Butler Junior High boys and girls track and field teams competed for the final time this season at the Altoona Middle School Championships.

The girls repeated as meet champions. The boys finished fourth in the 28-team competition.

Byron Manchester won the 300-meter hurdles, setting a school and meet record in the process. He also placed in the triple jump, 110 hurdles and 4x400 meter relay. Skyler Vavro placed in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters along with the 4x800 meter relay.

Also placing in the meet for the Butler boys were Vance Jackson, Raine Gratzmiller, Cole Lyons, Cole Hurley, Ryder Kriley, Jordan Stutz, Steven Green and Tyler Rekich.
