CRANBERRY TWP — A cleaning lady charged in Adams Township with stealing jewelry from a home she cleaned allegedly struck at least three houses in Cranberry as well, stealing a combined $22,000 worth of jewelry.
Brittany Smith, 27, of Butler, faces more felony charges after stealing jewelry from homes she cleaned in the township starting in 2014.
Smith was charged in Adams Township earlier this year with stealing a ring from a client's home and pawning it off.
She faces three felony charges of theft and three charges of receiving stolen property from three separate cases in Cranberry Township.
On Aug. 20 2014, Ronald Knorr reported to police that two necklaces, two bracelets and two sets of earrings worth in total about $10,000 were stolen from his residence sometime on Aug. 15, 2014.
