Ronald 'Punkin' and Jeanne Kummer

Ronald “Punkin” and L. Jeanne Kummer of Butler will celebrate 55 years of marriage with a family dinner.

The former Lucille Jeanne Rocco married Ronald August Kummer on May 19, 1962, at St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, now St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, in Meridian.

They have four children, Ronald A. (Lynn) Kummer II of Pittsburgh, Ginger (John) Javor of New Castle, Andrea Hutchens of Butler and Rena White of Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren.Kummer retired from Armco. He enjoys bowling and golf.Mrs. Kummer retired from Lyn-Mar Corp. She enjoys cards and bingo.The Kummers are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.
