Williams leads SR victory

Danny Williams pitched a three-hit shutout in the Slippery Rock baseball team's 2-0 victory at Harbor Creek on Saturday.

His effort included six strikeouts and no walks.

Dylan Dingel and Ricky Mineo both had two singles and a run batted in for the Rockets (15-2).

Corey Schrecengost scored four goals and teammate Braith Kiser found the net three times as Freeport closed the regular season with a 14-8 victory over host Meadville.

Garret Schaffhauser, Evan Schaffhauser and Sean Fennel each added two goals for the playoff-bound Yellowjackets (10-6).
