Anderson, Craska key 9-1 Mars win

Jack Anderson hit a three-run home run in the first inning and Frank Craska pitched six strong innings as the Mars baseball team downed Fox Chapel 9-1.

Dylan Rotz also doubled for the Planets (10-5, 9-2), who will take on Hampton at home Monday with at least a share of the section title at stake.

Evan Schaffhauser and Corey Schrecengost each scored four goals to lead Freeport to a 15-3 win over Plum.

Sean Fennel added two goals and Josh Leonard, Brennon Riley, Caleb Leyland, Gabe Brunk and Luke Miller also scored a goal for the Yellowjackets (9-5).
